The art of freshness and charm in every sip.
GEOLOGY
This cuvée comes from terroirs bathed in sunlight during the day and cooled at night — a thermal contrast ideal for revealing the aromatic complexity of Viognier.
The hillside and foothill soils, rich in limestone and slightly clayey, combined with the tempered influence of the sea, enhance the wine’s natural freshness.
VINIFICATION
The grapes are harvested very early to take advantage of the morning coolness.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks for 10 to 15 days.
AGEING
Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
SERVING TEMPERATURE
The ideal serving temperature is around 12 °C.
FOOD PAIRING
Scallop carpaccio with lime.
TASTING
Lovely pale blond color with green highlights.
An expressive nose marked by aromas of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn) accompanied by notes of white-fleshed fruits (pear).
On the palate, the wine is fresh and generous, with a beautiful balance that lingers through the finish.
An exceptionally mild and dry winter was followed by a spring marked by abundant rainfall, which helped to replenish water reserves.
Budburst occurred very early due to high temperatures, then slowed during a cool and humid May, thus aligning flowering with that of the previous year.
A mix of warmth and humidity, with the onset of veraison in early August.
Despite a high risk of mildew in the spring, the vines developed without water stress.
The summer heat allowed for rapid and even ripening of the grapes.
