Nestled in the heart of the Eastern Hermitage vineyard, one of the most renowned vineyards in the world, stands this enchanting stone house adorned with blue shutters— a place rich in history. Today, it is still used to dry the plants used for biodynamic preparations, as well as for the drying of the Hermitage straw wine.

Traditional vinification – 100% destemming.
3 weeks maceration and daily pumping over.
Malolactic fermentation.
Aged 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels and/or demi-muids and/or truncated cone vats and/or concrete eggs (percentage of new wood varies with vintage).
Crafted from the easternmost terroirs of the hill, where the soils are deeper. Soils linked to the river terraces of the Rhône, composed of limestone on colluvium.
Our winemakers recommends storing bottles in the dark, at temperature between 12-15°c and with a humidity level of over 70%.
Ideal serving temperature is around 16 to 18°C.
